Newly promoted Championship sides Oxford United and Derby County are keen on Sheffield Wednesday man Marvin Johnson, according to journalist Darren Witcoop.
The experienced left-sided player has been on the books of Sheffield Wednesday since 2019.
He has featured 126 times for the Owls and he is attracting interest from fellow Championship sides this summer.
Johnson has entered the final year of his contract at Hillsborough after the Owls activated the option to extend his contract by 12 months this summer.
It has been suggested that the Rams and the U’s are showing interest in the versatile Owls man.
Johnson played 29 league matches in Danny Rohl’s side last season and chipped in with eight-goal contributions in the process.
It has also been suggested that Des Buckingham’s side have already been in contact with the Owls regarding Johnson.
Now it remains to be seen if either of the newly promoted sides will be able to capture the experienced Johnson by the end of this month.
