Endrick is for his part of course fresh off notching the only goal of the game in Real Madrid’s Copa del Rey victory over Real Sociedad on Wednesday.

Prior to such a high for the 18-year-old, though, came plenty of lows amid what has been a challenging debut term in Europe.

All told, Endrick has been afforded less than 500 minutes on the pitch by new boss Carlo Ancelotti.

And, amid mental struggles with as much over the course of the season, there to lend a helping hand at every turn has been the aforementioned Vinícius Jr.

As per Relevo:

‘Vinícius and Endrick spend a lot of time together. For example, they do recovery sessions at Vini’s house, where he has good machines for it.’

During these sessions, the pair, it is claimed, talk through everything from football to general life, with as much having acted essentially as ‘therapy’ for Endrick in his most difficult moments.
