Sky Sport Italia reports that Leonardo Spinazzola will join Napoli on a free transfer, signing a two-year deal with the Partenopei.
Former Roma left-back Spinazzola is ready to join Napoli on a free transfer, reports Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
The report claims Spinazzola will sign a two-year contract with the Partenopei.
The defender’s contract with Roma expired on June 30, 2024, so he was free to sign with any other club.
Spinazzola made 151 appearances across all competitions with the Giallorossi, scoring seven goals.
Although he was not part of the Azzurri squad at EURO 2024, he was among the best players at the European Championships three years ago, helping the Azzurri win the trophy.
During that European campaign, Spinazzola suffered an Achilles injury, which forced him to the sidelines for nearly a year.
The 31-year-old has made 24 appearances for Italy’s national team but has yet to score a goal for the Azzurri.
