Club América have had a season to forget so far, languishing close to the bottom of Liga MX but Jonathan dos Santos believes Las Águilas can regain their form.
Since dos Santos’ arrival in December 2021, the Mexico international has struggled to impose himself within the starting XI.

“Obviously I want to be at the level I expect from myself, to give the fans the joy they deserve and hopefully we can finish the season well,” the midfielder told TUDN.
“We went through a rough patch. When you get into that kind of negative situation it’s always very difficult to get out of it.
“What I can tell you though is it’s true that we have been working very hard. The team, and I personally, have been working very hard.”
América face Monterrey on Saturday in a friendly before returning to Liga MX action on 2nd April.
