Everton manager Sean Dyche has provided a positive injury update on Thursday ahead of the club’s upcoming clash with Crystal Palace.
The big news sees Dominic Calvert-Lewin in contention to play, while Amadou Onana also returned to training.
It’s a huge boost for Everton’s attack, with Calvert-Lewin recovering from a hamstring issue sustained in early February. The English striker participated in a behind closed doors friendly on Tuesday.
“He’ll certainly be in the thinking,” Dyche confirmed. “The (Chester) game the other day was all about him. He felt good.
“Players can sometimes be like that when they have feelings against certain teams. I call this his proper return.
“Statistically, he’s proved where he is fitness-wise, it was my idea to take him off after playing 70 mins.”
Meanwhile, the Toffees will still have to wait for the return of Seamus Coleman and Ruben Vinagre, with the latter potentially requiring surgery.
