Everton will take on Chelsea in the Premier League at Goodison Park on Sunday.
The Toffees have been unbeaten in their last two league games and are heading into this fixture on the back of a 0-0 draw against Arsenal.
Chelsea have won eight games in a row in all competitions, and Everton need to come up with another strong performance at Goodison Park.
Ahead of the match, Sean Dyche confirmed that Dwight McNeil is tough-and-go to play, but he is “hopeful” to get him back for this crucial game.
This has been a massive week for Everton, as the club finally got rid of Farhad Moshiri. The Friedkin Group has become the club’s new owners, and after years of struggle, the Toffees fans can look forward to a bright future.
Jordan Pickford will be looking to make five clean sheets in a row as he starts in goal.
In defence, James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite continue to operate. Vitaly Mykolenko will start as left-back, and Ashley Young will continue on the right-hand side.
Although Nathan Patterson and Seamus Coleman are both fit, Dyche should look to keep the same back four that performed admirably well against the Gunners.
In midfield, Orel Mangala and Idrissa Gueye should act as a safety belt for the defensive back four.
Dyche needs a bit of quality upfront as well, and he could risk using McNeil from the start if he is able to play. In that case, Abdoulaye Doucoure will miss out.
Jack Harrison was disappointing in the previous game against the Gunners, and it looks likely that the Toffees will not make his loan move permanent next summer.
The 28-year-old should be dropped, and Jesper Lindstrom is likely to come in place. Iliman Ndiaye should continue from the left flank.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been really disappointing this season, and Beto could be given a chance ahead of him.
Predicted Everton starting XI v Chelsea: Pickford, Tarkowski, Young, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Mangala, Gueye, McNeil, Ndiaye, Lindstrom, Beto.
