Eagles become first team to reach FA Cup semi-finals
Eberechi Eze believes Crystal Palace have proved they have what it takes to win the FA Cup after a statement 3-0 win away at Fulham to reach the semi-finals.
Fulham were by a distance the better team for the opening half an hour at Craven Cottage, only for Eze to score one and assist another in a four-minute double salvo for the Eagles.
Palace again had far less of the ball in the second half but rarely looked in trouble, before Eddie Nketiah came off the bench to add a third and put the result beyond doubt.
"We're confident in ourselves and we know what we can do, we know what we are capable of," Eze told ITV Sport. "It's games like today where you show the mentality which will get you further in the tournament."
Team-mate Marc Guehi added: "We'll take it one game at a time. We did what we had to do today, we focus on the league and then focus on who we get in the next round."
Eze's opener was a stunner, with the midfielder - who scored his first England goal earlier in the week - cutting inside, dropping a shoulder and then beating Bernd Leno from the edge of the area.
He said: "It was an important goal. I'm happy to help the team and that's what I'm here for. We didn't start the best, it was difficult and there was a lot of defending but eventually we broke them down.
"I want to get the ball in the pockets and cutting inside, thank God it went in today. We took our chances when we got them and we put in a good performance."
