Manchester City are bouncing back from their midweek Champions League frustrations after taking a 3-0 lead against Newcastle United.
Omar Marmoush has given Pep Guardiola's a comfortable advantage by opening his account for the club with an impressive 14-minute hat-trick.
But it was the Egyptian's opener that also made history, as he latched onto Ederson's perfectly weighted long ball to claim a Premier League record in his own right.
City's goalkeeper has now racked up three assists in a single top flight season as well as six overall, setting two individual records in the process.
Ederson's delivery also saw him move clear of former England international Paul Robinson, who previously held the record with five assists to his name.
Defence really is the best form of attack!
