Edinson Cavani has joined Boca Juniors after his contract with Valencia was terminated a year early.
The Uruguay international’s stay at the Mestalla lasted just one season in which he scored seven goals in 28 appearances.

But Cavani returns to his native South America in a deal reportedly set to run until December 2024.
Prior to joining Valencia, the 36-year-old enjoyed spells with Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.
