Sport Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to improve their right-wing position and already have a set of names they are interested in.
One is Freiburg’s Ritsu Doan. The Japanese international wants to play in the Champions League and the black forest side is willing to listen to offers of around €15m for the winger. Doan has been at Freiburg for nearly three years having joined from PSV Eindhoven for €8.5m in 2022 after a loan spell at Arminia Bielefeld. The 26-year-old would be expected to provide competition for Ansgar Knauff.
Another name that are on Frankfurt’s list is Strasbourg’s Dilane Bakwa. The 22-year-old fits the profile that Die Adler are looking for and knows Hugo Ekitiké and Elye Wahi from the France youth teams. However, he will likely cost more than Doan due to being four years younger.
Celtic’s Niclas Kühn is also one of Frankfurt’s targets but is currently not one of their main options. The 25-year-old has never played in the Bundesliga in his native Germany and was also the goalscorer in Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich, his former club, last night.
