Saint Vincent and the Grenadines vs. Montserrat

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines won 2-nil against Montserrat 2-nil for its first win of the current campaign.

Cornelius Stewart struck the opening goal in the 15’, as Bishon Richards played a long ball from the back, allowing the striker to slot the ball past the opposing goalkeeper.

Brandon Barzey stepped up to the penalty spot in the 60’ for a chance to equalize but was denied by Saint Vincent and the Grenadines goalkeeper Lemus Christopher.

Diel Spring extended the lead in the 88’ as Stewart picked up the assist.

Lemus Christopher finished the match with five saves to earn the clean sheet.

El Salvador vs. Bonaire

El Salvador’s pursuit of regaining promotion to League A continues with a 2-1 victory against Bonaire. The result marks a consecutive win for La Selecta for a perfect start to its campaign.

A tightly contested first half nearly ended scoreless until Nelson Blanco whipped in a dangerous corner kick that deflected off Quincy Hoeve for the own goal in the 45'+3.

El Salvador extended its lead in the 60’ off a nifty passing sequence that left Emerson Mauricio alone with the keeper for the tap-in and his second goal of the tournament.

Jort van der Sande got the hosts on the board in the 90’+1 with a header off a corner kick to cut the deficit.
