For the third day in a row, Roma have been forced to postpone the scheduled medical examinations for incoming attacker Stephan El Shaarawy.
Sky Sport reports that il Faraone has tested positive for COVID-19 for the fourth consecutive day following his arrival in the Italian capital on Saturday evening.
El Shaarawy’s representatives were optimistic that he would test negative today given that yesterday’s result showed an incredibly low viral load remaining in his system.
Today’s positive result, though, has forced the Giallorossi to delay the 28 year-old’s medical exams at Villa Stuart in order to finalise his return to the club after spending the previous eighteen months with Shanghai Shenhua.
