FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 finalists England and Spain will meet in the next edition of the UEFA Women’s Nations League.

The draw for the next competition took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland earlier today and was streamed live on the association’s official media channels.

The draw determined that England will compete in Group A3 of League A. They will come up against world champions Spain, Belgium and Portugal. The winner of the group will automatically advance to next year’s UEFA Women’s Nations League finals. The third-placed team will play a relegation play-off while the fourth-placed team will automatically be relegated to League B.

England will face each of their three group stage opponents both home and away. The group stage games will be staged across the February 2025, April 2025 and May-June 2025 international windows with the semi-finals, play-offs and final set to take place in the second half of next year.

Fixture dates, kick-off times and ticket details for all of the group stage matches will be agreed and confirmed in due course. England are likely to play one home game and one away game in each of the three international windows like they did in previous tournaments.
