Two first-half goals from Vivienne Lia and a converted penalty from Ava Baker gave Lauren Smith’s side a cushion before Baker’s second, Laila Harbert and Jessie Gale wrapped up all three points.

Vivienne Lia headed the Young Lionesses in front after only three minutes, following up Lucy Newell’s own header against the crossbar.

Lia was then brought down inside the area and Ava Baker stepped up to convert the resulting penalty.

Mari Ward was denied by goalkeeper Louise Vervoort but Alexia Potter played in Lia, who beat three players before netting her second of the match.

An effort by Baker after the break was cleared off the line by Chionne Bonny, but Baker did double her own tally on the half volley.

Laila Harbert found the net from distance and Jessie Gale turned home a cross from Rachel Maltby.
