‘Enough’ – David Moyes shares Everton relegation verdict after loss at Man Utd | OneFootball

Everton have not won their last five Premier League games, and they could be under serious pressure before the end of this year.

The Toffees are 15th in the league with 11 points on board, but things are not looking bright for manager Sean Dyche.

Everton lost 4-0 against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, which was their sixth defeat this season.

The Toffees have failed to score in their last four games, and the fans are frustrated at the moment with the lacklustre football being played by the team.

Journalist Alan Myers suggests that Dyche’s job is not under threat at the moment, but the situation could change in a few weeks’ time when the Friedkin Group takes charge.

Everton have fought relegation battles and survived in the past few seasons. Former manager David Moyes thinks they willl avoid the drop this term.

Speaking on Match of the Day 2, Moyes said: “I think Everton have got enough to stay out of it but they’re going to have to win the games they can.

“Today was always going to be a hard game against Manchester United and Dychey sorted to eluded to that.

“But they gave away goals that were really unlike them. They need to be much better defensively, they need to get their set-pieces back working because over the last season or two they have been very good defending and attacking.”

Tough fixtures coming up for Everton

Everton do not have a great record at Old Trafford, and very few people expected them to get something against United.

The Toffees will face Wolverhampton Wanderers in their next game at Goodison Park, and they have to win it.

Everton failed to beat Brentford at home, and they cannot repeat the same mistake against Wolves.

They subsequently face Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Nottingham Forest.

Even the most optimist fan would fail to see how Everton can beat any one of them, given the kind of form they are in.

If the takeover is completed this month, it won’t come as a big surprise if the Friedkins decide to bring in a new manager.
