Manchester City opened their 2024/25 Premier League season against Chelsea on Sunday and Erling Haaland is back doing what he does best.
The Norway international scored the first goal of the season for Pep Guardiola’s men after previously impressing during pre-season.

Haaland’s tidy footwork in the box saw him stand tall and he bundled home the opener after 18 minutes of play.
The goal arrives on his 100th appearance for Manchester City and it’s the 91st time he’s back of the net. He now has 106 goal contributions to his name for the club.
Additionally, Haaland has now scored in his season opener in all three of his Premier League seasons.
