Estanis Pedrola to Bologna | OneFootball

Bologna FC 1909 can announce that forward Estanis Pedrola has joined the Club from UC Sampdoria on loan with an option to buy until 30 June 2025.

The 10th Spanish player in Club history, Estanis is a right-footed winger with great individual technique and skill, good in one-on-one situations, agile and quick. A Catalan who came up at Espanyol and then moved to Barcelona’s U19 set-up, he made his La Liga debut in January 2022 and just after turning 20, went out on loan to a relegated Sampdoria. His impact in the second division was excellent – despite Pirlo’s side’s struggles – Pedrola set himself apart for his elegant dribbling, effectiveness in open play, good physicality and ability to look for a finish (three goals in the first six games), as well as taking time away from his opponent. Held back by a series of injuries, he was nevertheless one of the most interesting talents at work in Serie B and closed out the year with 15 appearances before being bought outright by the Ligurians last summer
