WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blue Girls this afternoon.
Galli joined Everton in summer 2021 following a spell with Juventus. She has gone on to be a regular starter in the Everton side. Galli has made 57 appearances for the Merseyside club in the Barclays Women’s Super League in which she has scored four goals. The 27-year-old Italian international has also offered versatility with the player having been able to play in an unfamiliar wing-back role.
Galli is a valuable member of the Everton squad and the club will be pleased to have retained her services for an extended period.
After signing her contract extension, Galli said “I’m very excited to continue on as an Everton player.
“There is a built-up relationship here with everyone at the Club. I enjoy seeing everyone, I’ve grown with this group and the fans. I cannot wait for the season to get started.
“There is real potential with this group. We have unfinished work from last season because we played good football but made too many mistakes. This season isn’t about transition; it’s about showing what we have learnt and what we are capable of doing.
“My hope is this season, we are flying.”
Galli becomes the fourth player to sign a new contract at Everton this summer.
