The fear of relegation has evaporated, and Everton are now aiming to climb further up the table and end the season on a high.

Everton are expected to make smart moves in the summer window, and the Friedkin Group is committed to backing Moyes with proper funds to buy the right players.

At the same time, the Toffees will probably get rid of some out-of-contract players, while the transfer committee will need to take bold calls on loan players.

Everton have made decision on Carlos Alcaraz

It appears that the Toffees have made their decision already on one loan player – Carlos Alcaraz.

The 22-year-old attacker joined on loan from Flamengo in the January transfer window, and he has been really impressive.

The Brazilian club confirmed that the deal includes a “mandatory purchase clause”, subject to the parties meeting certain clauses, but Everton said they only have the option to buy him permanently.

According to TycSports journalist, German Garcia Grova, Everton have decided to trigger the clause in Alcaraz’s contract. The Toffees will pay a fee of £15m, and the attacking midfielder will sign a four-year deal at the Merseyside club.

He claims that the deal will get automatically activated if he plays eight games for Everton. He has currently made seven appearances.

Exciting news for Everton

Alcaraz has scored one goal and provided one assist in three Premier League starts, and he has looked an exciting player to watch.

Everton fans will be absolutely thrilled to find that the club are showing positive intent already in the market.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports claim that Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is considering his future in the summer after being neglected by Thomas Tuchel.
