Former Lokomotiv Moscow striker Dmitri Bulykin doesn't believe Ralf Rangnick betrayed the club when leaving for Manchester United.
Rangnick has left Loko as technical director to take the caretaker manager's job to June at Old Trafford.
Bulykin told TASS: "We don't know what agreements were there, maybe he brought his people, and he himself is a brand, so we don't know what Lokomotiv agreed to. But the fact that the German influence will remain in the club is 100%. We will see what will come of this."
Bulykin also suggested that now Loko's players will have the opportunity to prove themselves in European clubs.
“It would be good if Lokomotiv could make money on the players, someone would be interested in trying themselves in Manchester. If this happens, Rangnik can be thanked. They said that young foreigners were brought to the club so that they could show themselves and then sell, there are our players who would gladly try themselves in Europe, especially in Manchester United, Dmitri Barinov is one of those who could try it for me, but it will be more difficult there."
