Paolo Di Canio feels that if if after beating Atalanta Napoli also beat Juventus, they could be nearly impossible for Inter Milan to stop.

The former striker warned the Nerazzurri in an interview in today’s print edition of Naples-based newspaper Il Mattino, via FCInterNews.

Inter and Napoli look to be the two main contenders for the Serie A title this season.

Atalanta have just about kept their hopes alive with their comeback victory over Como earlier today.

Then, the likes of Lazio, Juventus, and AC Milan are quite a bit further behind.

But at the top, it is Inter and Napoli who are really going head-to-head.

The Partenopei are currently three points clear at the top. But the Nerazzurri have a game in hand, with which they could catch up, making the title race about as tight as it can get.

Di Canio: “If After Atalanta Napoli Beat Juventus – How Can Inter Stop Them?”

Last week, Napoli got a big statement result in the title race.

The Partenopei managed a victory over Atalanta in a 3-2 thriller.

That was a big result because it saw Napoli peg back Atalanta, one of their main rivals for the title.

But for Inter Milan, it also sent a clear message that the Partenopei are going to be extremely formidable rivals right to the end.

And today, Inter will be watching Napoli take on Juventus in Serie A.

This will be another tough test for Antonio Conte’s side. And if they are to pass it, it could leave Inter wondering whether the leaders will ever slip up and give them an opportunity to take control.

Former striker Paolo Di Canio said that Napoli “know that they can do something sensational.”

“They’re about to do it with the weapons that they have,” he went on.

“Obviously, that’s if Inter let them.”

“But if after they beat Atalanta, Napoli also beat Juve,” Di Canio posed. “How can Inter stop them?”
