Maximo Perrone has officially joined Como on loan from Manchester City: ‘It’s exciting to have him here,” said Cesc Fabregas.
Argentinean midfielder Perrone has joined Como from Manchester City on a loan deal until the end of the season, with an option to extend the agreement for another campaign.
“It’s exciting to have such a versatile player as Perrone join us,” Fabregas told Como’s official website.
“His recent preseason performance demonstrated his link-up play and creativity in the midfield.”
The 21-year-old midfielder said: “I’m very happy to be here in this club and this city, I’m really looking forward to start playing. I think it’s a step that I need in my career to keep growing, the idea of the coach suits me, and I like the style of play. It’s also a very interesting club, with a quality squad and that’s why I decided to come here.”
Perrone moved to Manchester City in January 2023, signing a five-year deal. He made his debut shortly afterwards in a 4-1 win over Bournemouth. He spent last season on loan at Las Palmas.
