Two goals from Eberechi Eze gave Crystal Palace the three points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Much like fellow Europa League finalists Manchester United, Spurs simply haven't looked up for it in the league this season and they were hit by two Eze strikes either side of the first half.
The first goal came just before break as a ball around the corner freed Daniel Muñoz to charge down the right. The Colombian kept running until he waited for the perfect moment to play a square ball across for Eze to tap into an empty net.
That opener was a rapid attack from the Eagles and they followed that up early in the second half with a quick break that saw Ismaila Sarr freed down the channel before then playing the ball back for Eze to pass the ball past goalkeeper Antonín Kinsky.
It could have been three through former Arsenal man Eddie Nketiah late on but the substitute fluffed his lines at the vital time.
Still, Palace have completed a double over Spurs, a result that sees Ange Postecoglou's side stay 17th despite United's defeat.
