Nottingham Forest have been drawn to face either Manchester City or Bournemouth in the FA Cup semi-final.

Forest, who reached the final four after defeating fellow Premier League side Brighton on penalties after a 0-0 draw, will male their first FA Cup semi-final appearance for 34 years since reaching the final in 1991 where they lost 2-1 to Tottenham.

Goalkeeper Matz Sels saved successive spot-kicks from Seagulls duo Jack Hinshelwood and Diego Gomez, before Forest captain Ryan Yates stepped up to score the decisive penalty to send Nuno Espirito Santo’s men to Wembley.

Manchester City will be looking to reach their eighth FA Cup semi-final in nine seasons when they face Bournemouth, with Andoni Iraola’s Cherries looking to reach the last four in the competitions for the first time in their history.

Crystal Palace will take on Aston Villa in the other semi-final, meanwhile, after both sides recorded 3-0 victories in their respective quarter-final ties.

Palace blew away Fulham after goals from Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Eddie Nketiah, with Oliver Glasner’s side returning to the final four for the first time since the 2021/22 season, which saw them lose 2-0 to Chelsea.

Aston Villa brushed aside Championship outfit Preston North End in the early Sunday game, with Marcus Rashford scoring his first two goals for Unai Emery’s side and Jacob Ramsey wrapping up the game with a third for the Midlands outfit midway through the second half.

They return to the semi-final stage for the first time since the 2014/15 season where they defeated Liverpool 2-1 before losing 4-0 to Arsenal in the final.

Here is how the draw looks, with the ties to be played across Saturday 26 April and Sunday 27 April.
