Fabrizio Romano provides lame excuse as to why Chelsea did not sign a new striker | OneFootball

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has been speaking to Chelsea clubs sources, and they have given him a lame excuse as to why they didn’t buy a striker.

Chelsea have now failed to sign a suitable out and out number 9 within the last FIVE transfer windows so believe me, the excuses will not wash.

The form since Christmas has been terrible despite managing to win their last match easily against Southampton.

The Blues won the game 4-0 in what was a much needed convincing performance, with goals coming from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.

In his latest article for GIVEMESPORT this week, Romano claims Chelsea didn’t sign any striker in January as they didn’t find the right profile available.

He goes on to say that they will be still busy with that position in the summer, with Maresca part of the conversation to pick the best option possible at number 9.

I’m sorry but there is no way that anyone can convince me that in five windows they could not find the right profile and said profile was not available.
