Gladbach's gloved teen sensation was one of Matchday 28's top points scorers thanks to no less than nine saves in a 1-1 draw at St. Pauli that kept his side's top-four ambitions intact. The only blot on Cardoso's impeccable copybook is that he finally conceded a goal after 283 minutes of Bundesliga action. Only three goalkeepers in league history have a longer such spell on their introduction, and a well-earned spot in the Team of the Week is his on the occasion of his 19th birthday this Monday.

Freiburg may have been comfortably beaten by Dortmund, but it was not for want of the Japanese marvel's efforts. Dōan had more shots than any other player on the pitch (five) and provided the assist to Maximilian Eggestein in Freiburg's late consolation goal as he delighted the wise Fantasy managers who selected him.

Demirović moved onto a handsome total of 13 goals in his first season in a Stuttgart shirt by bagging his first Bundesliga hat-trick in a 4-0 win at Bochum. The treble boosted Sebastian Hoeneß's side's European qualification hopes, as well as the spirits of any Fantasy managers who opted for Matchday 28's top scorer.
