FC Utrecht will have to do without American attacker Taylor Booth for the next few weeks. As reported by De Telegraaf, the 22-year-old is set to miss between four and six weeks with a knee injury sustained last weekend. After just 22 minutes of the sides clash with FC Twente, although they did still manage to win 1-0 away from home. The young attacker has scored five goals in 13 games for the side this season, which includes a hat-trick against FC Volendam at the start of February. Remarkably, all of his Eredivisie goals came within the space of a week as he followed up his three against Volendam with two against Fortuna Sittard.
FC Utrecht are one of the inform sides in the Dutch league since the turn of the year. They are yet to lose, with three wins and three draws in that time. They have won all three of their previous games and sit in ninth place, just outside of the top eight on games won. This weekend they have a chance to extend that run when they face a Heracles side who are by no means guaranteed of safety just yet.
