To mark International Women's Day and Equality Month, Deloitte and Paris Saint-Germain Women organised the "Femmes capitales" event at the Parc des Princes on 19 March 2025. This initiative was a continuation of the partnership established in 2022 to promote the role of women in all areas of the game, from the sporting side to the business side.
It brought together business leaders, international athletes and artists to celebrate women's sport and discuss the influence it can have on society.
This event reaffirms Deloitte and Paris Saint-Germain's commitment to supporting the dynamic growth of women's sports. Development in this domain is a powerful lever for advancing equality, with effects reaching well beyond the sporting area. With this in mind, Deloitte has honoured the legends and current players of Paris Saint-Germain Women, such as Laure Boulleau, Laura Georges, Sabrina Delannoy, Sakina Karchaoui and Grace Geyoro. These icons, inspirational for new generations, have been celebrated through a unique work of art that was unveiled at the showpiece event. This initiative also reflects Deloitte's internal commitments in terms of gender diversity, fairness in recruitment and career development, valuing women's career paths, and the representation of women managers.
Progress towards equality requires dialogue. A round table chaired by sports journalist Charlotte Namura-Guizonne brought together a number of speakers committed to promoting female talent. Charlotte Vandeputte, Audit Partner, Talent Leader, member of the Comex of Deloitte France and Francophone Africa, emphasised: 'Supporting Paris Saint-Germain Women means contributing to progress towards equality in a highly visible field. Sport, which is omnipresent in the media, offers a unique opportunity to change the way things are seen. By reaching a wide audience, particularly the younger generations, we have the power to inspire deep-seated and lasting change, particularly in the corporate world.'
Gianmarco Monsellato, Chairman of Deloitte France and Francophone Africa, said: 'Equality is not just a symbolic commitment, it is based on tangible benefits whose impact has been proven time and time again. The challenge of equality is a match that is played out on every pitch and, moreover, a match that cannot be won alone. It is vital to promote strong female figures who can embody this progress and serve as role models for new generations.'
A recent survey by Deloitte Australia revealed the benefits of equality, with an increase in performance (+17%), better decision-making (+20%) and greater collaboration within teams (+29%) when the leader is perceived as inclusive (equal) within the company.
During the event, a work celebrating the careers of several exceptional athletes was revealed. Produced by Caroline Blanchet, an artist and illustrator specialising in sport, the work honours the players and legends of Paris Saint-Germain Women. This initiative was born out of the need to once again highlight the impact and visibility of female talent. The work will first be exhibited in the Deloitte offices, before being donated to PSG For Communities.
Sabrina Delannoy, Paris Saint-Germain legend and Deputy Sports Director of the women's section: 'It's a huge honour to be highlighted through this initiative alongside other legends who have left their mark on the history of Paris Saint-Germain, as well as Grace Geyoro and Sakina Karchaoui, who are continuing the story. The visibility of women's sport is a daily battle that Paris Saint-Germain has been waging with determination for many years. Today, we are proud to be able to count on the support of a partner like Deloitte, which shares our values and helps us to promote women's sport.'
With 'Femmes Capitales', Paris Saint-Germain is once again highlighting the values and ambitions it shares with Deloitte, notably the promotion of women in sport, while encouraging other players to join the movement.
By highlighting the careers of exceptional women, this event is helping to write a story that goes beyond sport to inspire a new generation of leaders.
