Feyenoord have announced that Pascal Bosschaart will temporarily take over from Brian Priske’s duties in Rotterdam, following the Danish coach’s departure on Monday.
Former Feyenoord player Bosschaart, who previously worked as an assistant coach at SC Cambuur and FC Dordrecht for several years, is coming over from the club’s Academy, where he was in charge of the U21s. His assistant Arnold Scholten is also joining him in the senior side’s dugout.
Together with John de Wolf and Etienne Reijnen, Bosschaart will temporarily form the staff of Feyenoord’s first team. Director Dennis te Kloese said of the interim boss:
“We are pleased that Pascal has immediately agreed to step in temporarily. In the meantime, I have been able to speak to many players, staff members and other closely involved people and everyone realises that we still have a lot to fight for.”
