Belgium, Finland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Wales qualify for the 2025 UEFA Women’s Euros via play-offs.

Diana Silva gave Portugal an aggregate lead in Czechia but Katerina Svitková levelled from a 35th-minute penalty. Silva restored the advantage with 14 minutes of the 90 remaining, for a 2-1 win and 3-2 success over the two legs.

Poland progressed to the final tournament with a 1-0 aggregate victory, after a goalless game in Austria.

Wales won 2-1 away against Republic of Ireland to go through 3-2, leading with a Hannah Cain penalty and Carrie Jones effort, there was a very tense finale as Abbie Patten got the hosts back in it.

Finland ended Scotland’s hopes with two goals and a 2-0 victory overall, Nea Lehtola adding a deflected effort to Natalia Kuikka’s early strike.

Caroline Graham Hansen added to Norway’s 4-0 first-leg lead over Northern Ireland 13 minutes in. Frida Leonhardsen Maanum and Synne Jensen scoring after the interval.

Belgium took their aggregate lead over Ukraine to 3-0 through Mariam Toloba in the last quarter of the match. Liubov Shmatko replied but Tessa Wullaert made certain a Belgian victory in the 90th minute.

Sweden struck three times in a ten-minute spell before the half-hour mark, Filippa Angeldahl with a penalty, Kosovare Asllani and Stina Blackstenius also on target for a 5-0 aggregate lead over Serbia. Blackstenius got her second of the game in added time before the break, Hanna Bennison and Anna Anvegård completing the rout.

Qualified for next July’s finals are: Belgium, Denmark, England (holders), Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland (hosts), Wales.

The draw will be made at 5pm (UK time) on Monday 16 December, live on uefa.com
