Fiorentina struggling to meet price tag of Botafogo’s Luiz Henrique | OneFootball

Serie A side Fiorentina have been interested in a move for Botafogo midfiielder Luiz Henrique but they seem to be struggling in their move for the player.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about the 23-year-old today, stating that while Henrique has been winking at Fiorentina on social media through right-back Dodo, a move is currently complex even if the midfielder will be interested in the switch.

Botafogo want a fee of €30 million to let the star leave, with Henrique central to the club’s project. That price tag might only be a starting point and could get higher.

The feeling is that a move would be more affordable for La Viola in the summer and that is why signing the player is proving to be a struggle. A January move seems to be complex, even if things can evolve quickly. Fiorentina want to be ambitious but it remains to be seen what path they take.

At the same time, a move for Michael Folorunsho is taking shape and the feeling is that it could be complete in the next few days.
