Flamengo have named Vítor Pereira as their new head coach for 2023.
The Portuguese spent 2022, his first year in Brazilian football, with Corinthians.
He announced his departure from Corinthians back in November, citing family reasons, having led them to a fourth-place finish in the Brasileirão and the Copa do Brasil final, where they lost to Flamengo.
Now Pereira, who has won league titles in Portugal, Greece and China, has been unveiled as the new Flamengo boss after their disappointing fifth-place finish last term.
