Porto’s right-back João Pedro could remain in his native Brazil with a host of Brasileirão clubs interested in signing the 23-year-old.
Pedro has been loan at Bahia this year, and has impressed despite having his season disrupted by injuries.
The defender will feature in Sunday’s Serie A clash at Clube Sportivo Alagoano.
According to the newspaper A Bola, Flamengo and Grêmio are the frontrunners to capture Pedro’s signature.
The former Palmeiras man is not rated at Porto and has no place in the plans of manager Sérgio Conceição, despite having a contract until 2023.
