Flamengo will face Vasco da Gama in the two-legged semi-finals of the Campeonato Carioca.
With Fluminense already crowned Taça Guanabara champions and Fla secure in the second spot, it was down results on Sunday to finalise the last four match-ups.
With Botafogo being held to a 2-2 draw by Audax Rio, Vasco’s 3-0 victory over Resende saw them snatch third spot.
The Rubro-Negro will not have to wait long to renew hostilities with their Clássico dos Milhões rivals, with the first leg pencilled in for this Wednesday and the second leg scheduled for next Sunday.
Both fixtures will take place at the Maracanã.
Flamengo manager Paulo Sousa will hope to reach his first Carioca decider, while the Mengão seek to win the competition for the fourth consecutive year.
