Once again this year, for the seventh time, Fondazione Milan will take part in the Relay Marathon 2025, a key pillar of the Milano Marathon Charity Programme aimed at raising funds to support the social projects of the participating organisations.

On this occasion, Fondazione Milan will run for "AC Milan for All", an accessibility and inclusion programme that embodies the vision and commitment of the Rossoneri family both on and off the pitch. Specifically, this year, the funds raised will support the Gruppo Sportivo Dilettantistico Non Vedenti Milano ONLUS, which has been promoting autonomy and inclusion through sport for over 40 years. The funds will be used to purchase a minibus that will allow young athletes to reach the sports centres where their activities take place.

The Rossoneri Relay teams The Relay Marathon 2025 is scheduled to start at 8:30am CEST on Sunday 6 April. The 42.195 km course, designed in a loop structure, will start at Piazza Duomo and finish on Via Palestro.

This year, the Rossoneri public charity will count on a total of 175 participants, divided into 42 relay teams and 3 marathon runners who will complete the entire course. Representing Fondazione Milan will be Massimo Oddo, Milan Futuro's Head Coach, along with 5 guides who will accompany visually impaired and blind athletes from the Istituto dei Ciechi di Milano (Institute for the Blind in Milan), offering them the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience and share the excitement of running together in this sporting event.

At the end of the Milano Marathon, Fondazione Milan will present two special awards to its runners:

  1. Generosity Award: The Relay team that raises the most donations for the "AC Milan for All" programme will be hosted by Fondazione Milan at San Siro, where they will get to watch a match.
  2. Speed Award: The fastest Relay team will receive four AC Milan 2024/25 Home kits.

The alliance with partners Fondazione Milan's efforts have been supported by Rossoneri partners Grenade, brand of Mondelēz International, and PUMA, who also organised two events in preparation for the marathon. Additionally, Clivet, Gatorade and donor company BCS have all contributed by providing useful gadgets and products to support the runners' performance.

Grenade, the Official Protein Bar Partner and the Regional Partner for Italy of AC Milan, will appear on the special black and gold PUMA shirt that will be provided to all Rossoneri runners. As part of the initiatives promoted by the brand before the marathon, on Tuesday 18 March, Casa Milan opened its doors to host an event focused on sports wellness and proper nutrition. During the event, organised by Fondazione Milan and Grenade, the Rossoneri runners had the opportunity to hear from Milan Futuro's nutritionist, Alberto Sala, and Francesco Cusati, President of the Gruppo Dilettantistico Non Vedenti Milano. Their insights encouraged reflections among the participants on topics such as nutrition, sports performance, and the specific needs of blind athletes. Furthermore, the event was an opportunity for participants to taste Grenade protein bars, rich in protein and low in sugar, ideal for those who wish to maintain an active lifestyle without giving up a delicious snack.

Meanwhile, PUMA, Rossoneri's Principal Partner, collaborated with Fondazione Milan to provide runners with the necessary technical gear and, as part of the pre-race activities, organised "JOIN THE RUN", a special training session held on Thursday 27 March. All attending runners were able to test the new PUMA Deviate NITRO 3 shoe model at the Bottega del Diavolo on Via Dante and discover its unique features during an urban workout with some PUMA talents at Piazza Castello.
