A surprise insight into the future of Sevilla star Isaac Romero has this week been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Estadio Deportivo, and points towards the powers that be at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán preparing to part with the gifted 23-year-old.
Why? To secure much-needed fresh funds.
After enjoying a sparking opening to the season with the club’s reserve outfit, Isaac, for his part, was afforded a permanent place in Quique’s first-team Sevilla squad this past January.
And, safe to say, the move has since proven a beneficial one for all parties involved.
All told, the frontman has been afforded 11 appearances to date, racking up a head-turning five goals and four assists in the process.
Such exploits are already understood to have piqued the attentions of clubs across the continent, amid claims of interest from all of the Premier League, Bundesliga, and Serie A.
And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, Sevilla appear ready to cash in.
As per the aforementioned ED, despite the recent big-money loan secured by the club, the Andalusians remain in need of further monetary gain.
With Isaac’s potential sale set to give rise to pure profit, it is in turn stated outright that the Spaniard should be considered ‘for sale’.
Before as much is given the green light, however, work remains to be done.
This comes with the Sevilla board keen to extend Isaac’s terms beyond their current close in the summer of 2025, in the process hiking up his release clause, too.
As much currently stands at €15 million, but the Nervionenses intend to push this sum closer to the €40 million mark ahead of the summer.
