Barcelona midfielder Pablo Torre appears to be on the verge of a summer departure, with his contract set to expire in 2026.
According to reports from SPORT, the young Spaniard is unlikely to continue at the club due to his limited playing opportunities.
After spending last season on loan at Girona, Torre has struggled to find consistent minutes this campaign, featuring in just 12 matches and accumulating a total of 373 minutes on the pitch.
Since the start of 2025, he has made only three appearances—two in the Copa del Rey against Barbastro and Real Betis, and one in La Liga against Valencia.
Now, with no contract renewal expected, Barcelona are looking for a solution that would see him leave in the upcoming transfer window.
Interestingly, recent reports indicate that Girona are keen to strengthen their squad for the next season, with Torre and Ansu Fati emerging as potential signings.

The Catalan club believes Torre could be a valuable addition, providing him with the playing time he has lacked at Barcelona.
Having already spent a season on loan at Girona under Michel, a return to the club next summer is being considered a realistic possibility.
Although Torre remains in Hansi Flick’s good books, his lack of minutes in recent weeks suggests that a move away from the club could be the best option for his development.
Since his appearance against Valencia, he has been an unused substitute in several matches, including encounters against Atalanta, Alaves, Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano, Las Palmas, Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad, and Benfica in the Champions League.
Torre’s situation has steadily declined under Flick. While he started the season with promise, the intense competition in Barcelona’s midfield has significantly limited his opportunities.
More concerningly, the lack of game time has also affected his confidence. With Girona showing interest, a move could provide him with the stability and playing time he needs to fulfil his potential.
