Former Chelsea player Fikayo Tomori has been offered to the club, but a deal can only happen under one circumstance according to reports.
The January transfer window is now open, and the whilst the expectation is that Chelsea will be quiet in terms of incomings it doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t do any business.
Outgoings are expected to be the main focus with the Blues hoping to find solutions for Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka whilst Cesare Casadei is attracting a lot of interest.
The Blues have been linked with a move for Liam Delap and Randal Kolo Muani, although any move for an attacking player in January would almost certainly depend on Christopher Nkunku leaving.
It’s no secret Chelsea are looking to bring a centre back in, and whilst they have recalled Aaron Anselmino they are still looking to add in that area.
Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana are currently Chelsea’s first choice pairing whilst Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi are alternative options.
Tomori is facing an uncertain future at AC Milan.
The Blues have been linked with a move for Benfica’s Tomas Araujo but journalist Sacha Tavolieri has reported Chelsea have been offered Tomori.
“If Tomori is indeed considering a return to the Premier League, he is not currently part of any priority plan of the teams to whom his profile has been offered, in particular Chelsea Football Club who would only see his comeback favourably in the event of Axel Disasi’s departure,” he told Sky Sport.
“If a return to the Blues is a possibility, the club currently most pressing for Fikayo Tomori obviously remains Juventus Turin.”

Tomori came through the ranks at Chelsea but left the club for AC Milan in January 2021 before making his move permanent that summer.
The defender is currently under contract until 2027 and has made 157 appearances to date for the Serie A giants, although he’s only featured nine times in Serie A this season.
