Four potential Juventus candidates to replace Motta

Reports in Italy suggest Thiago Motta’s position at Juventus is not safe despite Cristiano Giuntoli’s claims, and the media has named four potential replacements for the ex-Italy international.
Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus coach Thiago Motta is under scrutiny, although club director Giuntoli claimed otherwise in the aftermath of a “shameful” Coppa Italia elimination at the hands of Empoli.
Tuttosport and Gazzetta report that Motta must improve his relationship with some players and his playing style in the last 12 games of the season. If he fails to do so, even a top-four finish may not be enough to keep his job.

Gazzetta and Tuttosport even name some potential candidates to replace the ex-midfielder at the Allianz Stadium.
Both newspapers claim Gian Piero Gasperini, Antonio Conte, and Igor Tudor would be the frontrunners if Juventus decide to part ways with Motta at the end of the season.
According to Gazzetta, Conte is Juventus’ ‘big dream.’
However, if the Bianconeri change their coach in the summer, they will want to do it before the Club World Cup starts on June 14. Current regulations do not allow any Serie A club to hire a coach from another team in the league, as the season formally ends on June 30.
Tuttosport also adds ex-Italy coach Roberto Mancini to the Juventus list. The Sampdoria legend has been in touch with some top Serie A clubs through his entourage in recent months.
Motta signed a three-year contract with Juventus last summer, so his agreement with the Old Lady expires in June 2027.
