France Star ‘Happy To Face My Old Team’ In Inter Milan Vs Bayern Munich Champions League Showdown | OneFootball

Benjamin Pavard says that he is happy to return to face his former team Bayern Munich with Inter Milan in the Champions League.

The Frenchman spoke to to InterTV, via FCInterNews, after this evening’s round of sixteen second leg win over Feyenoord.

Inter Milan will face Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the Champions League next month.

And for one Nerazzurri player in particular, it will be a significant tie.

Defender Benjamin Pavard spent four seasons playing for Bayern. He joined the German giants from Stuttgart in the summer of 2019.

But then after four successful seasons in Bavaria, Pavard decided to leave to join Inter.

The Nerazzurri signed the Frenchman as a replacement for Milan Skriniar.

As he had done in all four seasons with Bayern, Pavard won the league title in his very first season as an Inter player.

Defender Benjamin Pavard made over a hundred appearances for Bayern across his four seasons with the club.

And the Frenchman said that “‘l’ll be happy to come up against them again.”

Meanwhile, Pavard also gave his thoughts on this evening’s round of sixteen second leg win over Feyenoord. Inter secured their place in the quarterfinals with a 2-1 victory.

“It wasn’t an easy match,” said the Frenchman.

“But it was a great performance from Inter.”

“I’m happy with the performance, and with reaching the quarterfinals,” Pavard said. “And now we’re ingfocus on Atalanta.”
