Davide Frattesi is averaging just shy of a goal involvement every two hours at club level since his move from Sassuolo, with his latest coming after just 43 seconds of Inter’s 3-2 victory over Udinese on Saturday evening.

The Italy international has nine goals and five assists in all competitions for the Nerazzurri since the start of last season.

With his latest goal against Udinese, Frattesi is now up to a goal involvement every 129 minutes, a record that has only been bettered by strikers Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram for Inter over that same period.

Additionally, despite being a central midfielder, he is also Italy’s leading goalscorer since Luciano Spalletti took over from Roberto Mancini just over a year ago.

Though he has often been used as a replacement for Nicolo Barella, which was the case again on Saturday, Frattesi and his agent have reportedly pushed for more playing time under Simone Inzaghi.
