Freiburg set to sign Troyes’ Cyriaque Irié in big-money move | OneFootball

Freiburg are set to sign ESTAC Troyes winger Cyriaque Irié (19), according to a report from L’Équipe. The Burkina Faso forward is expected to complete a big-money move to the Bundesliga club.

At AS Nancy at the time, Irié was linked with a big-money move to AC Milan last summer. Ultimately, that move never came off and instead, he remained in France. However, his stay at City Group-owned Troyes looks set to be a short one. Having scored seven goals and registered two assists in 32 matches this season, an end-of-season move is on the cards and already on the verge of completion, L’Équipe understands.

Freiburg have been making inroads on a deal in recent weeks and an agreement is now close. Foot Mercato goes so far as t say that a verable agreement has been found between all parties. The value of the deal, as per L’Équipe, is valued between €12-15m. Irié was also the subject of interest from RC Lens in January, however, he now looks set for a move to Germany.
