Eduardo ‘Chofis’ López is on the lookout for another club in the next transfer window after growing increasingly disillusioned with life at Chivas.
According to several reports in Mexico, the attacking midfielder wants to flee the Flock due to continued criticism and his inability to nail down a starting spot.
‘Chofis’ has made seven substitute appearances during this Guard1anes 2020 season, failing to register a goal or an assist.
With little hope of proving his worth to manager Víctor Manuel Vucetich, López is looking further afield to revive his career.
While there would certainly be interest from other Liga MX clubs in the 26-year-old, there is also the option of crossing the border to try his luck with a Major League Soccer team.
López, who came up through the ranks with Los Rojiblancos, has won one Clausura title, two Copa MX, a Supercopa and a CONCACAF Champions League since making his senior debut in 2013.
