The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Meanwhile, it's Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Unsurprisingly, there are few changes for Fulham from the 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace. In fact, the only change sees Lukic come in for Berge who is not even in the squad. One can only assume it is an injury to the Norweigan. Elsewhere Wilson can only manage a place on the bench despite his heroics in the past couple of games, scoring three in his last two matches.

Wolves boss Gary O’Neil will have been mightily relieved to register a win against fellow strugglers Southampton in their last game. The match finished 2-0 with Pablo Sarabia and Matheus Cunha getting the goals. Cunha has netted in his last three away games and represents a major threat to the opposition having contributed to seven of the 16 goals his side have scored during this campaign. Only eight teams have scored more than Wolves in the Premier League, so the problems they have lay elsewhere. They have shipped 27 in 11 games so far, the most conceded by any topflight team this season, and if they are to improve upon their league position – where they currently sit in 19th place – they will have to address that conundrum.
