The 23-year-old is in his second season in Bergamo as Atalanta made his loan move permanent from Milan last summer after a successful debut season at the Gewiss Stadium.

The Belgium international has 24 goals and 20 assists in 74 appearances with La Dea.

Journalist Paolo Condò wrote in his latest column for Repubblica newspaper that Atalanta coach Gasperini is convinced that CDK will play for Liverpool, Real Madrid or a big club in Spain or England within two years.

Atalanta paid just €3m for De Ketelaere’s loan in 2023 and signed him permanently last summer for a further €22m fee.

The Belgian talent had failed to impress in his first and only season at Milan, providing one assist in 40 appearances across all competitions.
