Barcelona collapsed in a matter of four minutes to give up a 2-0 lead against Celta Vigo last night and ended up dropping two points as they fell to their first draw of the season.
Marc Casado’s red card proved to be the turning point as the hosts only required four minutes to equalise after that event and even could have gone on to win with a little spare time.
Barcelona’s young midfielder Gavi started the game and was on the field until about ten minutes before Celta scored their first goal and put up a good show against the Galicians, but unfortunately did not end up on the winning side.
Speaking to the media after the game, the Barcelona midfielder was furious and he lashed out at his teammate Jules Kounde for the error in conceding the first goal.
“The first goal we concede is a joke. He has to clear the ball. We have to learn, this is football.”
He then expressed his anger at the entire result, saying, “This is what happens when you lose focus.”

Speaking on what was the turning point that led to Barcelona dropping points last night, the youngster said, “We had the match under control, but the red card affected us a lot.
“Red cards are part of the game. There are many other mistakes.”
Despite the poor result, it was a big night for Gavi as he made his first start of the season against Celta Vigo.
“I already knew I was ready to start, but I wanted to get the three points. We could not do it,” he said at his start, not paying much importance to it.
Finally, the former Golden Boy winner pledged to fans that such an error would not repeat in the future. “We want to win, the fans know that. I’m sure that what happened today will not happen again.
“I’m sure we won’t make the mistakes we made today again,” he reiterated.
