With the San Siro set to close for a period at the start of 2026, it seems AC Milan are doing some testing abroad.

In the past few weeks, there have been multiple suggestions that Milan could head abroad at the start of 2026 whilst San Siro is out of use for the Winter Olympics, and a report this morning suggests that pre-runs could take place this summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via Milan News, the Rossoneri will head to Asia this summer, with two games already pencilled into the calendar – of course, those are the games against Arsenal (Singapore, July 23) and then Liverpool (Hong Kong, July 26).

However, a third country will be added to the list it seems – Australia. The report suggests that the Rossoneri will head down under once again, with Perth currently the idea in mind, as they did last year. Additionally, it seems the game could be against the same opponents, Roma.

Given Australia is one of the ideas in mind whilst the Diavolo cannot play at San Siro, it is suggested that this summer’s fixture could be a test for interest and feasibility of hosting Serie A games in the county. It still remains to be seen if Serie A will agree to the idea, but there must be confidence if tests are to take place.
