Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino previewed Sunday’s match with Roma.

“Roma? We’re talking about a team that was already very strong last season,” said Gilardino about his next opponent.

“It is an incredible team also based on what they have managed to create in this transfer window,” he added.

“There is the awareness of facing a very strong team but we must stay humble, show humility and remain aware of the fact that we’re capable of playing well on this stage.”

“De Rossi is so good and he already demonstrated it last season, he has an important team in his hands. We know who we’re facing and we have the desire to suffer to go head-to-head with Roma.”
