Yann Bisseck and Federico Dimarco put in sloppy displays that were emblematic of how Fiorentina thrashed Inter Milan 3-0.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

It would be unfair to single out individual players after a performance like Inter’s at the Stadio Artemio Franchi yesterday.

The Nerazzurri looked imprecise and off the pace. They were second best to Fiorentina in all aspects.

Inter’s passing was too slow and still managed to be careless. And defensively, it was just as bad.

But in the view of the Corriere, two players in particular summed up Inter’s evening.

Bisseck & Dimarco Sum Up Disastrous Fiorentina 3-0 Inter Rout

In Inter’s back three, defender Yann Bisseck got the start.

And while the German has had plenty of outstanding performances this season, yesterday’s was not one of them.

Bisseck’s positioning seemed to be off whenever Inter conceded a counterattack. And in possession, he simply didn’t offer much.

Meanwhile, Federico Dimarco came on in the second half after Inter went 2-0 down.

The Italian international should have been a player who finally salvaged the match for Inter. He can certainly offer a creative threat that few players in Serie A can.

But Dimarco contributed nothing positive with his passing and crossing. That certainly factored into Inter being unable to turn the situation around.

Then, it was Dimarco who gave the ball away for Moise Kean’s second goal as Fiorentina completed the rout.
