The powers that be at La Liga outfit Getafe have come to a final decision on the future of defender José Ángel Carmona.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Diario de Sevilla, who point towards Carmona as being all set to bid farewell to his current teammates come the season’s close.
The 22-year-old, for his part, has spent the season to date on loan with Getafe, from La Liga rivals Sevilla.
And Carmona, all told, has played a prominent role in the defensive ranks of boss José Bordalás, on his way to 26 appearances.
Despite as much, however, the brass at the Estadio Coliseum have come to the decision not to make Carmona’s arrival a permanent one.
That’s according to the aforementioned MD, who have confirmed that the Azulones will not take up their €5 million option to buy in the summer.
The Spaniard, as a result, is primed to return to Sevilla, where it is not out of the question that he will be afforded the chance to impress at senior level next season.
This comes with Carmona held in high regard by those behind the scenes in Andalusia.
